Hello All!

I am very excited to announce this event,

Women for Women of the big Wet.

I have decided to create a fundraiser, playing with some of the coasts top professional female performers, for women who are suffering untold hardships, having lost everything in the latest floods around the Lismore area.

 

I thought long and hard about how best to help. There are so many people in need and I wasn’t keen to donate to a charity where funds will get eaten up by running costs, so I decided to do a concert for someone and hand over 100 % of the takings.

 

Of course this would not be possible without the generosity of people to help me make this event happen.

 

Rob Torelli, who owns Music Station Macksville is waiving his hall hire fee for the day and also generously doing lights and sound.

 

The beautiful Georgie Ostenfeld will be playing a delightful set of Cello Classical pieces.

Cathy Welsford and Angie Smith will be entertaining us with their Wild Woman Act.

 

Karin Braidwood will be mesmerising with her glorious classical guitar playing.

 

 

And I will will playing songs that are appropriate to the standard of the grand piano…some beautiful jazz and light classical songs to round off the afternoon.

Concertina player Claire will be busking as you enter the venue to raise more funds.

 

So prepare to be entertained, delighted and mesmerised as we all join together to help woman in need in the Lismore area.
