I was priveledged to be engaged to perform at our first staff concert under theguidance of our new conservatorium director, Dr. Glen Hodges.
He has some great ideas and getting us all together to perform on one night is a fabulous approach.
I played Fats Wallers The Vipers Drag and The Joy Of Life, an original tune by me.
It is very interesting just going on stage to perform 2 songs.
You have to be very warmed up in your mind and bidy and make your energy focus and pop at the moment that you are announced to go on stage.
I love having the ability to do this and enjoy teaching thsi in my performance technique workshops.
