Mylestom hall hosts these fantastic musicians for an evening of Jazz, Blues, Swing and boogie. This exciting event will provide an opportunity for you to BYO your picnic and be entertained in this wonderful setting.
This event swings into action on April 28 with doors opening at 6:30 and show starting at 7:PM with plenty of excitement and flying fingers, hot licks and tricks expected.
Ian Date has recently returned to Australia after living in Ireland. The guitarist of the Shadows Hank Marvin described Ian thus: “Ian’s playing, with its moving bass lines and melodic chord work are jaw dropping and to top it all off he’s a most entertaining performer and a genuine “nice guy”. Heather Rose is a dynamic local performer and is known as “The Queen of Boogie Woogie”. Her strong and swinging piano style has delighted many audiences up and down the coast. She charms and delights with her witty songs and gets the audience involved for a fun filled event every time. The idea behind the night is to have a really great time listening to these wonderful performers via an exciting and varied hot jazz, blues and swing repertoire. The event is expected to attract an enthusiastic crowd out for a thrilling time. Ian says “I am really excited to be coming to the beautiful Mylestom and play some music for all the good folk there.” If you are tempted by the sounds of some virtuoso guitar playing and some boogie piano then put this in your diary!
