Hi. I hope that this blog finds you well and happy during these trying times. I am keeping busy practicing and catching up on creating many things during these times. I have been offering ways to create happy memories with music by playing sax for lockdown birthdays. So far I have played for 9 to 80 year olds.
It’s been great to be able to put a smile on peoples faces and to connect with so many stories of loved ones in lockdown in our community.
I am also offering a Mother’s Day Special……Music Memories last longer than flowers.
I will be performing, in your mum’s driveway, on saxophone, to piano, bass and drums backing tracks, a live concert of 20 – 30 minutes.
A truly beautiful way to show your mum how much you are thinking of her and how much you care, this year.
I am also offering Online Music lessons. A very different way of teaching, but one that I have been doing for many years with students from Sydney to Perth.
A lovely idea that Donna Waygood Collins of radio 2 NVR Fm is doing is a LoungeRoom Concert series.
I will be doing 2 of these. An Anzac Special Singalong a on Anzac day and on the 11th of May, I will be performing a 2 hour concert featuring my favourite songs, from light classical, originals, jazz, blues, boogie and covers, as well as singalongs , name that tune competitions and requests.
Please take care and stay safe.
Contact me for everything regarding music.
Best Wishes, Heather Rose
