I learnt and performed this most beautiful song that I had never heard of after I finished my jazz studies and filmed it as a gift for a very special person in my lfe in front of a live audience.
Music takes us to amazing places and this song really does move people.
My students were part of the audience and I shared my learning journey of this song with them over the 10 weeks it took me to get it performance ready.
The audience were amazing and didn’t make a sound during the whole of the performance, just raptuous applause at the end.
The gift was very much appreciated by the recipient and moved them to tears.
Mission accomplished 🙂
